Please note: Each class is comprised of multiple sessions and is limited to 20 students or less

CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (MAKE-UP SESSIONS AND RE-TAKES): In keeping with our primary goal of delivering the most effective financial modeling training to our students, our attendance policy is flexible to accommodate your already demanding schedule and any unexpected occurrences. Missed classes can be made up at your earliest convenience at no extra charge. If expected absences are known in advance, make-up classes can even be attended ahead of time.
Similarly, if it becomes necessary for you to re-take any sessions, you can do so as your schedule permits. We offer multiple classes simultaneously; there are always numerous options available and we will be happy to include your name on the roster for desired makeup (and/or re-take) sessions. Additional seats are always set aside in reserve for this purpose.

IBI SOFIA INVESTMENT BANKER PROFILE

LUDMIL GARKOV leads the IBI training program in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ludmil has 15 years of experience in private equity, corporate finance, and consulting; also has held titles of CEO and CFO during his career. He has a significant track record of originating, advising and executing mezzanine, equity, and M&A transactions with over €3 Billion in aggregate deal and pitch experience.

As an Assistant-Director of M&A Transaction Services at Deloitte, Ludmil led a number of transaction advisory and transaction support projects, mainly for large European corporations, in energy, financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing.

In his consulting career, Ludmil has focused on strategy and operations advisory, with key projects in energy regulation, financial restructuring and internal controls.

Ludmil has been CFO and CEO of the No. 2 corrugating manufacturer, as well as CFO of a boutique winemaker and trader.

Ludmil holds a Masters in Energy and Environmental Economics and Management from ENI Corporate University (Milan, Italy) and BA’s in Business Administration and Political Science/International Relations from the American University.
