CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY (MAKE-UP SESSIONS AND RE-TAKES): In keeping with our primary goal of delivering the most effective financial modeling training to our students, our attendance policy is flexible to accommodate your already demanding schedule and any unexpected occurrences. Missed classes can be made up at your earliest convenience at no extra charge. If expected absences are known in advance, make-up classes can even be attended ahead of time.
Similarly, if it becomes necessary for you to re-take any sessions, you can do so as your schedule permits. We offer multiple classes simultaneously; there are always numerous options available and we will be happy to include your name on the roster for desired makeup (and/or re-take) sessions. Additional seats are always set aside in reserve for this purpose.

Hanover Square is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. You can reach us effortlessly: on the Central, Bakerloo and Victoria tube lines, get off at Oxford Circus or on Central and Jubelee tube lines, get off at Bond Street and you will find yourself within a short walk from our training facility. If you are not on a tube line, our Hanover Square location can also be easily accessed by bus, road and rail with NCP car parks nearby.

MAKSIM GAUTTSEL is a senior corporate finance professional with 7 years of experience in complex valuations of public and private companies, M&A, financial due diligence and consolidation of groups’ accounts according to IFRS and US GAAP.
Maksim is working in the Business Valuations Division team at Pricewaterhousecoopers (“PwC”) in the Transaction Services division. Maksim joined the PwC Moscow office in 2006 as an Associate of Assurance department. During 3.5 years at PwC Moscow he has mainly worked with Russian Oil & Gas majors advising them on business valuations, creating group accounts and groups’ restructuring. After that he was selected to be seconded to the PwC London office – an opportunity only available to the brightest candidates.
Serving as a senior finance professional at PwC London he has been leading a variety of business valuations, M&A and financial due diligence projects.
Since joining PwC, Maksim has been mainly focused on Energy, Utilities, Mining and Infrastructure industries. His clients are Gazprom, Centrica, SIBUR-Holding, Transneft, ENRC, etc.
Prior to PwC, Maksim worked as an Analyst in the commercial credit department of Bank Aktsept, Russia and he also leaded a start-up auto credit project in Sibacadembank, Russia.
Maksim holds Bachelors and Master Degrees in Economics in fuel and energy industry from the Novosibirsk State Technical University. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
Selected Transaction Experience:
- Assets swap between 2 Infrastructure funds with the total Enterprise Value (“EV”) of the assets over $1.7 billion
- Sale support of several investments in Infrastructure, Energy and Oil & Gas companies across the world by an Infrastructure fund based in the UK with EV around £1.3 billion
- Pre-deal and post-deal valuation of several infrastructure assets based in Europe and North America for various Infrastructure funds. The range of EV per asset is from £100 million to £1.0 billion
- Valuation of several windfarms based in Europe for an Infrastructure fund with EV of $70 million
- Valuation of Mining holding based in London with mining operations in Kazakhstan and Africa with EV around $4.5 billion
- Valuation of upstream Oil & Gas holding based in London with mining operations in Russia and Ukraine with EV over $850 million
