It was a pleasure speaking with you today. As I mentioned, I really enjoyed the IBI class. Though I had been an MBA finance major, I thought that the skills that we covered were very practical and helped me fill some important gaps in my modeling experience. The IBI training helped me transition from a job in management consulting to private equity, and I am happy to report that I have recently accepted a Vice President position with a Private Equity Fund.

As previously discussed, we are interested in adding a few analysts to the team, and we would be very interested in receiving resumes from IBI students, past or present.

    Subject: Started new job

I just wanted to let you know that I started a new job last week at a private equity firm. We're into buying out small cap distressed companies (both debt and equity) and turning them around for exit. It's only my fourth day here and I'm already up to my neck...

I wanted to say thanks for the training. If you want a testimonial from me or anything else, I'm certainly up for it.

On a final note, we're hiring pretty aggressively now, so if you have some good candidates, please have them send their resume to me.

Hope all is going well on your end!

Subject: Human Resource Contact for Alumni

It was a pleasure speaking with you this morning.

Again - I am very pleased with the candidates that I am interviewing that have completed the Investment Banking Course you conduct.
I would like continue to assist your alumni and future alumni in exploring opportunities within the financial industry that values the skill sets your course is teaching. As we discussed, please provide my contact information to these students/professionals and should they prefer - you may send me their resumes or contact information and I will contact them to provide assistance in their job search.

I work with several financial firms who place a high value on the financial analysis, financial modeling and valuations skill set your course covers. These firms are located in NYC, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and any other large city that has a strong financial district.

Additionally, I am going to begin recommending your Investment Banking Course to the NYC candidates that I assess need to improve on the skill sets your course provides to help further their careers.

I will always take time to talk with your alumni and provide them direction with the opportunities I am hiring for.

Thanks - and I appreciate the course deliverables you have set up for these professionals.

    Regards,

    Corporate Services
